PettiBox is developed by GhostGram Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how PettiBox handles information when you use the app.
PettiBox is an offline-first Android app that helps you save links, notes, images, screenshots, PDFs, text, and files so you can organize, search, and find them later.
PettiBox does not require an account for normal usage. Google Sign-In is optional and is used only for features such as Google Drive backup and restore.
PettiBox does not operate a backend server for storing your saved content.
PettiBox stores the content you choose to save, which may include:
This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, or restore it.
PettiBox may process images and PDFs using text recognition technology, including Google ML Kit, to extract searchable text.
Text recognition processing is used only to help you search your saved content inside PettiBox.
When you save a link, PettiBox may connect to the webpage to retrieve information such as title, description, and preview image.
The website you save may receive normal connection information such as IP address and user-agent. PettiBox does not use this information to track you.
PettiBox stores reminder information locally on your device and uses Android notifications and alarms to remind you at the time you choose.
Reminder data is not sent to GhostGram Labs servers.
PettiBox may use the following permissions:
PettiBox can create backup files containing your saved items, collections, attachments, tags, reminders, extracted text, and related metadata.
Backup files are created only through PettiBox backup features.
PettiBox allows users to optionally connect their Google account to back up and restore PettiBox data using Google Drive.
Google Drive access is used only when you choose to enable Google Drive backup or restore inside PettiBox.
PettiBox uses Google Drive access only to create, read, and manage PettiBox backup files created by the app.
PettiBox does not access, read, modify, delete, or collect unrelated files from your Google Drive.
Google Drive backup files may contain your saved PettiBox content including links, notes, images, documents, collections, tags, reminders, and related metadata.
Your Google Drive data is not transferred to GhostGram Labs servers. PettiBox does not sell, share, or use your Google Drive data for advertising or tracking.
You can remove PettiBox Google Drive access anytime from your Google Account permissions page.
PettiBox's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you choose to share or export content, the information is sent only to the app or service you select.
Archived items remain stored locally until restored or permanently deleted.
When you permanently delete items, PettiBox removes the related local records and files where applicable.
PettiBox does not collect your saved content on GhostGram Labs servers.
PettiBox does not sell your personal information.
PettiBox uses third-party libraries and services for app functionality, including file handling, background processing, image loading, link previews, Google Drive backup, and text recognition.
Your saved content remains until you delete it, export it, restore data, or uninstall PettiBox.
Backup files you create may remain wherever you choose to store them, including Google Drive.
PettiBox is not intended for children under 13. GhostGram Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
PettiBox stores saved content locally on your device unless you choose backup, export, or sharing features.
Backup files may contain your saved information, so store backups only in locations you trust.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date.
